Fees, Payment, and Rebates
Fee Structure (As of 1 June 2023):
Payment:
Rebates:
- Psychology counselling fees - $195 per 50 minute session (on-line and in-person)
- Psychology consultation fees - $195 per 50 minute session (on-line and in-person)
- Psychoeducational assessment (standard) fees - $1350 (inclusive of 2 x 2 hour assessment sessions, and written report)
- Psychoeducational assessment (extended) fees - $1500 (inclusive of 2 x 2 hour assessment session, and extended written report)
- Psychoeducational assessment (brief) fees - $750 (inclusive of 1 x 2 hour assessment session, and written report)
- Cognitive assessment fees - $450 (inclusive of 1 x 2 hour assessment session, and written report)
Payment:
- Payment for in-person counselling and consultation sessions is to be made at the end of the session. This can be made via EFTPOS.
- For on-line counselling and consultation sessions, an invoice will be emailed directly after the session and should be paid immediately.
- Payment for psychoeducational assessments can be made in full at the end of the first assessment session, or can be split between the two assessment sessions. Payment plans are also possible, with payments being broken down into 4 payments over 8 weeks.
Rebates:
- Medicare rebates are available for counselling and consultation sessions for clients who have a Mental Health Plan from their GP. Once appointments are paid for in full, your practitioner can process your Medicare rebate and it will be funded to your nominated bank account.
- Private Health Fund rebates are available for counselling and consultation sessions - clients are encouraged to check with their health fund to see if psychology services are included.
- Medicare and Private Health Funds do not generally provide rebates for psychoeducational assessments.
- Clients with self-managed NDIS funds may be able to claim psychoeducational assessments from their fund.
