In-Person Mind Fit Workshop - How to Flourish in 2025:
Join psychologist Joanna Sleight for an afternoon of relaxation, goal setting, and the building of resilience and wellbeing skills. You will learn lots of practical strategies to implement into your life this year, including:
Counselling Services (on-line and in-person):
- Counselling for individuals to help decrease stress, meet their health goals (sleep, exercise, diet), improve their wellbeing, and work towards a flourishing life.
- Counselling for parents to help reduce parental overwhelm and work towards becoming a flourishing parent.
- Counselling for expecting mothers to help reduce anxiety and worry related to their upcoming birth.
- Counselling for children, adolescents, and young adults to build resilience, improve emotion-regulation, and help navigate life transitions as they grow into adulthood.
Educational and Developmental Services:
- Psychoeducational assessments of learning difficulties, disabilities, and giftedness. Assessments will discover an individuals strengths and weaknesses with regard to the learning process and provide recommendations to help the individual reach their learning potential. Assessments may also lead to the diagnosis of disorders which effect the learning process such as a specific learning disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, or an intellectual disability.
- Intervention programs for attentional, learning, and behavioural issues. We also offer the Cogmed program which targets attention difficulties through computer-based working memory training: http://www.cogmed.com.au/
- Parent consultation for educational and developmental issues (on-line and in-person).
In-Person Mind Fit Workshop - How to Flourish in 2025:

On-line Mind Fit Course:
- This is a self-paced course where you will learn strategies to decrease stress and increase your wellbeing. Over six topics you will develop skills in:
- mindfulness
- helpful thinking strategies
- relationship strategies
- increasing the amount of positive emotions you experience
- achieving your physical health goals so that you can enhance your mental health
- discover your signature strengths and values so that you can build a more authentic life
- Each topic includes a video as well as practical activities to help you to start integrating the new practices into your life.
